Elven Slaves are sometimes generated from winning combat with certain units when the victorious player has the [[FfH Slavery (Civic)|Slavery]] civic, or is fighting with the [[FfH Taskmaster (Unit)|Taskmaster]], and the defeated unit has the [[FfH Elven (Promotion)|Elven]] promotion. The Elven Slave can do most tile improvements, at 40% of the speed of a [[FfH Worker (Unit)|Worker]]. It can build the Elven replacements for a number of improvements, and they cannot remove [[FfH Forest (Terrain Feature)|Forest]]s, nor can they explore [[FfH Ancient Temple (Resource)|Ancient Temple]]s.
