− | A good defensive unit for Cities and [[FfH Hill (Terrain Feature)|Hill]]s. Compared to the [[FfH Longbowman (Unit)|Longbowman]], it costs more, does not require a building, and cannot be upgraded.
| |
− | ==Civilopedia==
| |
− | As proficient in combat as any other Civilization's longbowmen, the Bannor Longbowmen spend much more time on the march than their counterparts who live their lives on the ramparts of city walls. They are often brought along to protect crusaders when Bannor declares war, and so travel better armored. As zealous as their melee companions, Bannor Longbowmen will move right into the city they conqueror, and put down rebellion by any means necessary.
| |
− | ===Strategy Text===
| |
− | The best non-limited city defender is the Longbowman. They start with a high bonus to city defense and like all archers have access to the City Garrison promotions which make them even better. Longbowmen require an Archery Range and Copper to be created and can be upgraded to Marksmen or Flurrys.
